Dr. Deborah Gortler Shukovsky was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She completed her BA in Diplomatic History at the University of Pennsylvania, where she also earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry in 2004.

The doctor did a General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weil Cornell Medical Center. She then went on to complete her residency in Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania. She regularly attends educational lectures at her alma matter as well as the annual American Associate of Endodontists meetings in order to stay informed about the latest scientific research and techniques in endodontics.

Dr. Gortler is committed to providing each and every patient with precision in her technique while using gentle hands. She enjoys meeting and connecting with new patients every day. The doctor find particular satisfaction in doing root canals in order to help alleviate her patients’ pain.

Dr. Deborah Gortler enjoys raising her three children. She loves to do Pilates and yoga, spend time outdoors, cook and bake and is committed to a healthy lifestyle.
